Exploring Cornell: the School, the Cayuga, and the Taughannock

“Ithaca is not only a place that profoundly affects those who spend time on this campus … But Ithaca, Cornell, is also a state of mind, both a beginning and a destination for a journey characterized by a rare excitement that stirs the spirit, body and intellect.” – Elizabeth Garrett

This project is aimed to share the beauty of Cornell University, located in Ithaca, New York — a place that some people deem “isolated” and “suicide-invoking.” Ithaca may seem to be an isolated countryside, but it is home to two post-secondary educational institutions: Ithaca College and Cornell University, with Cornell being an Ivy-League University. The campus itself is huge, and carries a lot of historical value, the buildings are constantly being renovated and improved, while keeping the historical aspect intact. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the Cayuga is calm and peaceful. The Taughannock Falls are very large, and are also breathtaking to look at. Ithaca itself is very quiet and nice, and has all necessary commodities. And, the food is nice.
